Attention debut authors! If your adult or new adult book will publish in 2017, don’t miss‘17Scribes. ‘17Scribes is a group of new authors who have banned together to reach readers and sell books by promoting one another and sharing marketing strategies.

The website, www.17scribes.com, includes a link to the ‘17Scribes Facebook page where you can request to join the group. Once accepted, your bio, photo, and social media links will be added to the website. You can also add your book cover, a short summary, and links to Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.

While the website is a great way to promote your book, the Facebook discussion is the most valuable benefit of ‘17Scribes. Recent topics include using Goodreads the right way, securing author endorsements, building websites, and tax deductions for writers. Members mentor one another throughout the publishing process and celebrate milestones such as cover reveals and pre-order dates.

As a ‘17Scribes member, you’ll be asked to contribute to discussions and promote the Facebook group, website, and fellow scribes on your social media and author website. Plus, you’ll be in good company. The group includes a Hollywood writer, an editor for Writer’s Digest, and a writer for Teen Vogue.

Don’t wait! Check out ‘17Scribes. Your new friends are waiting for you!
