Kara Candito is the author of “Spectator,” winner of the Agha Shahid Ali Poetry Prize, and “Taste of Cherry,” winner of the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry. Her work has been published in “AGNI,” “The Kenyon Review,” “jubilat,” and elsewhere. Candito is the winner of a Pushcart Prize and the recipient of fellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and the MacDowell Colony. A creative writing professor at the UW-Platteville, she lives in Madison, WI, where she co-curates the Monsters of Poetry reading series.

Bridget Lowe is the author of the book of poetry “At the Autopsy of Vaslav Nijinsky” and contributor to the forthcoming anthology 12 Women. Her poems have appeared in “American Poetry Review,” “Ploughshares,” and “Best American Poetry,” among other publications. She has received a “Discovery”/Boston Review prize, the 2011 Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellowship to The MacDowell Colony, and has been a scholar and fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. She lives in Kansas City, where she was born.
