In 2007, photographer Gayle Harper discovered the Great River Road, a National Scenic Byway that follows the entire course of the Mississippi River, and learned a raindrop falling into the headwaters of the Mississippi travels for 90 days to reach the Gulf of Mexico. From August until November, 2010, she made this 90-day road trip while keeping pace with an imaginary raindrop called “Serendipity.” “Road Trip With a Raindrop” presents this trip in over 150 full-color photographs and 54 vignettes
